“So basically you just drink a protein shake right?” I get asked this question A LOT! More than any other questions actually..And the answer is absolutely NOT! Why? Because if I was drinking a protein shake that would mean it’s just a shake that provides extra protein. But it’s so much more than that! It’s my daily dose of dense nutrition my go-to energizer my trip to the salad bar in a glass! I could go on forever! However I can’t blame the general public for thinking this since “protein shake” has become nearly an interchangeable term for ANY shake! But not all shakes are created equal- especially ones that contain superfoods. #Shakeology is a very nutrient-dense shake that can be used for breakfast lunch or dinner. My normal routine is having it as breakfast but tonight it’s dinner because I decided to go out for breakfast with my boys today You would need to eat a whole lot of fruits and veggies to equal the amount of nutrition in a single glass of Shakeology- and you probably couldn’t do it in less than 170 calories. My momma superfoods make it very easy to cut calories without substantially cutting down my daily volume of nutrients needed. Truth be told the majority of people are WAY MORE nutrient deficient than they are protein deficient.
